Connecting Allen to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code

Ask about your own comments, prospects and pipeline in plain English from the AI assistant you already use. Read-only by default.

1 min read

Allen can plug into Claude and ChatGPT as a connector, so you can ask things like "which of my comments got replies this week" or "who on my pipeline hasn't heard from me in ten days" and get answers from your own account.

Set it up

  1. Open Claude and ChatGPT under Setup in your sidebar.
  2. Press Create key and give it a name, like "Claude Desktop". Copy the key now; you will not see it again.
  3. In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the address https://tryallen.ai/api/mcp and your key.
  4. In ChatGPT: turn on developer mode, choose Create MCP app, and paste the same address and key.
  5. For Claude Code, the page shows a terminal command to run with your key.

What it can do

By default a key is read-only: it can look at your comments, runs, prospects, pipeline and voice settings, and answer questions. Tick Allow changes on a key and the assistant can also edit, approve or skip comments and start a search for you.

Security

Each key is separate and can be revoked from the same page at any time. Revoking a key disconnects that app immediately. Connected apps are listed on the page so you can see what has access.
