Comment tones: insight, agree and build, pushback, question
Allen can approach a post several ways. Here is what each tone does and how to set the mix Autopilot uses.

A comment can respond to a post in different ways. Allen calls these tones.
The tones
- Add insight: bring one piece of new information the post did not have.
- Agree and build: agree, then take the idea one step further.
- Respectful pushback: disagree with one point, politely, with a reason.
- Ask a question: a real question the author would want to answer.
- Share an example: a short story or example from your world.
- Congratulate: for wins and announcements.
- Thank: for posts that taught you something.
Where you control it
Under Train Allen, "How Allen responds" lets you set the mix. Autopilot uses that mix across the day's comments so you are not asking a question on every post. On Today, the Rewrite menu lets you switch a single comment to a different tone.
Which tones get replies
Analytics shows replies by tone once you have a few posted comments, so you can see which angles start conversations for your audience and lean into them.
Tone controls are rolling out gradually. If you do not see them yet, your comments still vary naturally and you can steer them with rules under Train Allen.
