Getting the most out of Allen

Using your own posts and Allen's comments together

Comments put you in front of people who do not follow you. Posts give them somewhere to land. Here is the loop that uses both without doubling your time.

You do not have to post to get results from Allen. If you do post, here is how to make the two feed each other.

The loop

  1. Allen comments on your buyers' posts every day. Some of them click through to your profile.
  2. Your profile has a recent post that speaks to their problem. They react or comment.
  3. The Engaged with you tab on Pipeline shows you who they are, scored against your audience. Add the good ones to your watchlist or Pipeline, or draft a DM.
  4. Allen now comments on their posts too. They see you again. The DM, when it comes, is not cold.

What to post

The same problems your keywords describe, from your side of the table. One post a week is enough to keep the profile alive; two is plenty. Use the Posts page: give Allen rough notes, let it draft in your voice, pick a first line, and queue it for a weekday morning.

Use what the comments taught you

The posts you commented on this week are market research. If three of your buyers posted about the same frustration, write your post about that. The Inspiration tab on Posts shows public posts that did well on a topic if you want a format to borrow.

Keep the time budget

Posting should not push your daily time past fifteen minutes. If it does, post less and comment the same. Comments are the part that reaches new people; posts are the part that catches them.

Check the numbers

Analytics has a Your posts tab for reactions and comments on your own posts, next to the results of your commenting, so you can see whether the loop is turning.
