Running Allen across a team or agency
How to roll Allen out to several people without ten voices that sound the same: one workspace, individual voices, shared audiences, and a light review step.
2 min read
Allen is built for one person's voice on one person's LinkedIn. A team is several of those, in one place where a manager can see what is happening.
Set up the workspace
Start on the Team plan (three seats; ask us for more). Under Setup, Team, invite each person by email. They sign in with their own account and connect their own LinkedIn. Each person trains their own voice and has their own credits, so nobody's comments sound like anybody else's.
Share the targeting, not the voice
Have everyone use the same job titles, keywords and skip lists under Prospects, or the same base with each rep's territory as the target country. That keeps the team aimed at the same buyers. Voice training stays individual: each person pastes their own example comments. Three reps with the same voice look like a bot farm; three reps with three voices look like a company whose people are everywhere.
Use approvals for the first two weeks
Turn on approvals for new members. Their comments wait for an owner or admin before posting. Review a few, send one or two back with a note, and after two weeks when the removal rate is near zero, turn approvals off. Review is a training wheel, not a permanent process.
Agencies running client accounts
Each client connects their own LinkedIn and should give you their own example comments and bio; you cannot fake a founder's voice from a brand guide. Set up their audience with them on a call. Turn on approvals so you see every comment before it posts under the client's name. Keep approvals on for clients; that is the service they are paying for.
Watch the overview
The Team page shows how active each person has been: comments, replies, pipeline. Pipeline value per person is the number a manager should care about. Low replies with normal volume means that person's audience or voice needs a look.
Divide the watchlist
Give each person the named accounts they own. Allen checks each person's watchlist on their own runs, so two people do not end up commenting on the same prospect's post.
Still stuck?
A person will answer.
Allen is built by a small team and we read every message. Business-day replies usually come within a few hours.
