Audience setups that work, by business type
Worked examples of job titles, keywords and skip lists for recruiters, accountants, agencies, coaches, financial advisors and B2B sales, with the mistake each one usually makes.

The same three settings decide everything: job titles find people, keywords rank posts, skip lists remove the wrong people. Here is how that plays out for the businesses we see most.
Recruiter (placing sales talent)
- Job titles: VP of Sales, Head of Sales, Sales Director, Chief Revenue Officer, Founder.
- Keywords: hiring, time to hire, open role, team growth, quota.
- People to skip: Recruiter, Talent Acquisition, Staffing.
- The usual mistake: targeting candidates and hiring managers in one audience. Make two. Candidates post about career moves; hiring managers post about team problems.
Accountant or CPA (serving small businesses)
- Job titles: Owner, Founder, Managing Partner, Practice Owner, CEO.
- Keywords: cash flow, bookkeeping headache, tax season, hiring my first employee, selling my business.
- People to skip: Accountant, CPA, Bookkeeper, Tax Advisor.
- The usual mistake: keywords like "tax planning". Those posts are written by other accountants. Buyers write about the problem, not the service.
Marketing agency (serving local or niche businesses)
- Job titles: Owner, Founder, Dealer Principal, General Manager, Practice Owner, Marketing Manager.
- Keywords: leads, no-shows, Google reviews, slow month, referrals.
- People to skip: Marketing Agency, Agency Owner, Marketing Consultant, Freelancer.
- The usual mistake: an empty skip list, so Allen comments on other agencies. In marketing, your peers are the loudest posters.
Coach or consultant (selling to leaders)
- Job titles: CEO, Founder, Managing Director, VP, Head of People.
- Keywords: burnout, team conflict, first-time manager, scaling, delegation.
- People to skip: Coach, Consultant, Facilitator, Speaker.
- The usual mistake: too many keywords. Pick the three problems you actually solve.
Financial advisor
- Job titles: Owner, Founder, Physician, Dentist, Attorney, Partner, Executive.
- Keywords: retirement, selling the business, succession, exit, equity.
- People to skip: Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, Insurance Agent, CFP.
- The usual mistake: targeting too broadly. "Everyone with money" is not an audience. Pick two professions and get known there.
B2B SaaS sales rep
- Job titles: your buyer's exact titles, plus one level up and one level down. VP of Operations, Director of Operations, Operations Manager.
- Keywords: the problem your product fixes, in the buyer's words.
- People to skip: your competitors' titles and anyone in Sales or Marketing at other vendors.
- The usual mistake: using your product category as a keyword. Nobody posts "I need workflow automation software". They post "my team spends Fridays on spreadsheets".
Across all of them
Set a target country if you sell in one. Use "talking about anything" searches to see your buyers' real posts before you commit to keywords. And put your top prospects on the watchlist so Allen never misses them.
