Choosing which audiences and watchlist Autopilot uses

Tick the audiences Autopilot may comment on, include or exclude your watchlist, and run watchlist-only if you only want to reach named people.

1 min read

Autopilot only comments on people who match one of your audiences, or people on your watchlist.

Audiences

On the Autopilot page, tick each audience it may use. An audience with no job titles searches by keywords only, and the page warns you about that. Untick an audience to leave it out without deleting it.

Watchlist

Tick "My watchlist" and Allen checks the recent posts of everyone you are watching on each run, and gives those posts priority. Your watchlist people are usually the ones you most want to be seen by.

Watchlist only

Untick every audience and leave only the watchlist ticked. Autopilot then comments only on named people and never searches for new ones. If the watchlist is empty, the page tells you to add people first under Connections or with the Chrome extension.

Company pages

Autopilot never comments on company or news pages, even if an audience has that turned on. Those posts wait on Today for you.
