Company pages: commenting on them and posting as one

Allen can comment on posts from company and news pages if you turn that on. It always comments as you, never as a company page.

Commenting on company page posts

By default Allen looks for posts written by people, because a comment on a person's post starts a conversation. If you also want posts from company and news pages, open the audience under Prospects and turn on "Company and news pages". Allen adds a handful of those posts to each search.

Autopilot never comments on company pages. Those comments wait on your Today page for you to post by hand, because a company page is not a person and the usual safety checks do not apply.

Posting or commenting as your company page

Allen comments and posts from your personal LinkedIn profile only. It cannot act as a company page, and that is not a limit we plan to lift soon. The reason is simple: people reply to people. A comment from "Jane, founder of Acme" starts a conversation. The same comment from "Acme" reads as an ad.

If your goal is to grow a company page, the path that works is for one or two real people at the company to comment in their own names and mention the company where it fits.
