Installing and using the Chrome extension
Add Allen for LinkedIn from the Chrome Web Store. It puts an Allen button on every post in your feed and writes the comment into LinkedIn's own comment box.

The extension is for the posts you find yourself while scrolling. Allen's daily queue finds posts for you; the extension lets you comment on anything else in your voice.
Install
- Open the Allen for LinkedIn listing on the Chrome Web Store and press Add to Chrome. It works in Chrome, Brave and Edge from the same listing.
- Make sure you are signed in to tryallen.ai in the same browser. The extension checks your Allen login before it does anything.
- Open LinkedIn. Each post now has a small Allen button in its action bar, next to Like and Comment.
Using it
- Scroll like you always do. When you see a post worth answering, press Allen on it.
- Optionally type a note first to steer the comment: the point you want to make or an angle.
- Allen reads that one post and writes a comment using the voice and rules from your account.
- The comment lands in LinkedIn's own comment box. Edit anything, then press Post yourself.
What it reads
Only the single post you click on, and only when you click. It does not watch your feed, read your messages, or send anything on its own.
It counts
Extension comments count toward your daily goal, your streak and your badges, show up in Analytics, and are tracked for replies like any other comment. Each one uses a small amount of credits from your monthly pool.
Settings in the popup
Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to see whether you are signed in and to adjust how Allen writes for extension comments.
