The 30-minute setup that gets replies
Most accounts that get replies in week one did the same five things in their first half hour. Here they are, in order, with how long each takes.

Allen works out of the box. Allen works well when it knows three things: who your buyers are, how you talk, and that it is allowed to post. Thirty minutes covers all three.
Minute 0 to 5: connect LinkedIn
Settings, Integrations, Connect LinkedIn. Approve on LinkedIn's page. Nothing else in this list matters until this is done, because comments cannot post without it.
Minute 5 to 15: give Allen your real writing
Open Train Allen. Paste three to five comments you have actually written on LinkedIn and were happy with. Not posts, comments. If you have never commented, write three now as if replying to a post from a client, and paste those. Then fill in the bio in two or three honest sentences: what you do, who for, how you come across. Add two or three rules for things you never do. This step is where "sounds like AI" is decided, and it is the step most people skip.
Minute 15 to 25: fix the audience
Open Prospects. Allen suggested job titles during onboarding. Read them out loud and ask of each one: would a real customer put this exact title on their profile? Delete the ones that would not. Add the two or three that are missing. Then look at keywords and replace anything that describes your service with something your buyer would say about their problem. Add your competitors' titles to People to Skip. Set a target country if you sell locally.
Minute 25 to 28: run once and rate
Go to Today and press Run. Read the posts that come back. If they are your buyers, good. If not, go back to Prospects; it is always the job titles. Post two or three comments. Thumbs up or down on every one.
Minute 28 to 30: turn on Autopilot
Autopilot page. Five a day, weekdays, your audience ticked. Turn it on. Tomorrow morning the plan arrives by email.
What to do tomorrow
Read the morning email. Remove anything you would not say. That takes two minutes, and every removal teaches Allen. Within a week the removals stop.
The one thing people regret skipping
Example comments. Everything else can be fixed later with a click. A voice trained on nothing produces competent, forgettable comments, and forgettable comments do not get replies.
