The Today page: your daily queue

Today is the page you land on each time you open Allen. It holds every comment Allen has written for you today.

Getting comments on the page

There are two ways comments appear here:

• Autopilot, if it is on, runs each morning on the days you picked and fills the page before you wake up.
• The Run button at the top searches right now using your saved audience and keywords. Use it when you want more than Autopilot found, or on a day Autopilot does not run.

A search takes one to two minutes. Allen finds posts, checks that the author matches your audience, and writes a comment on each one.

The comment card

Each card shows the post, who wrote it, how well they match your audience, and the comment Allen wrote. From the card you can:

• Post: sends the comment to LinkedIn from your account and marks it posted.
• Copy: copies the comment so you can paste it on LinkedIn yourself. Allen marks it posted when you copy.
• Edit: change any word before it goes out. Edits are saved and teach Allen your voice.
• Rewrite: ask Allen for a fresh version, make it shorter, or write from your own notes. You get 10 full rewrites a day.
• Thumbs up or down: tells Allen what sounded right.
• Not relevant: hides the post and tells Allen not to find posts like it.

Daily goal, streak and badges

The ring at the top tracks your daily goal (seven comments by default) and your streak of days you hit it. Comments from the Chrome extension count too. Badges unlock for milestones like your first comment, a seven-day streak, or commenting on a VP or C-level post.

Watchlist tab

If you have people on your watchlist, their recent posts show in their own tab so you can comment on the people who matter most first.
