Allen keeps showing the wrong kind of people
If your results are full of marketers, coaches, or people in the wrong industry, the fix is almost always in your job titles and skip lists.

This is the most common reason a trial feels like it is not working, and it is fixable in ten minutes.
Why it happens
Allen searches for posts written by people with your job titles, then ranks them by your keywords. Two things go wrong:
- Your job titles are too broad or empty. "Owner" alone matches every small business on LinkedIn. An empty list searches everyone.
- Your keywords describe your product. Posts about your product are written by your competitors, not your buyers.
The fix, in order
- Open Prospects and read the job titles out loud. Would a real customer put that exact title on LinkedIn? If your buyer is a car dealer, use "Dealer Principal", "General Manager", "Dealership Owner", not "Automotive".
- Add the people showing up by mistake to People to Skip. Marketers, coaches, consultants, agency owners, recruiters and students are the usual suspects.
- Rewrite your keywords as your buyer's problems, not your service.
- Set a target country if you sell locally.
- Run a search on Today with "talking about anything" so job titles do all the work, and see who comes back.
When your buyers barely post
Some industries are quiet on LinkedIn. If that is you, the Connections page is the better tool. Use Find leads to search by job title, location, industry and company size, add the right people to your watchlist, and Allen will check their posts specifically on every run instead of hunting through the feed.
Still off?
Press "Not relevant" on the wrong posts. Allen learns from that. And book a setup call; fixing targeting is most of what we do on them.
